Parliament has all kinds of daft rules for not being able to describe things accurately. You can't call another MP "drunk", but you can say they were "tired and emotional". That's become a universally-recognised euphemism, so perhaps one's needed for racists.

It's things like this that drove me out of the Liberal Democrat party. They've also bought in to the "this is the status quo, things can't get better" situation.
I used to have a Lib Dem membership. Heck, I even stood in an election for them in 2018, but now I've gone Green.
