Black techie. Sometimes really crafty. Usually reading and snacking. Lot of stress baking.
Former HashiCorp.
I know this sounds petty and ridiculous but the way I'm about to sell our LG washer and dryer because LG apparently can't figure out how to unlink an old social login link from my email address since August is pretty ridiculous

I'm just meal prepping and canning this weekend. Made some chicken and turkey stock and now it's in the pressure canner. If you're going to can, please use safe and tested recipes so you don't off someone with botulism. NCHFP says 25 minutes for meat stock for my elevation.

If the phrase `open source` means nothing to you
imagine if your favorite app worked like Wikipedia and anyone could come along and edit it

that's how the code for Blacksky works
anyone can edit it

it's also how our docs work; if you think something's missing or could be improved, change it

I'm begging y'all to stop tagging the people you're sending direct messages to in Slack and Teams. You're already either in a group chat with them or a 1:1 DM. You don't need to @ them too. Lol just slow down a little. I know Slack likes to auto tag but you can stop that from happening.

This weekend, went to the mountains with friends (was not the only B person there, believe me I've seen all the movies) and someone goes, "Well I know C didn't bring the tp because its single ply and she buys bougie tp." I confirmed from the other side of the house with a "YEP!" I love them lol

Wild that after everything we've been through, some of y'all still refuse to wash your hands and cover your mouths when you cough. This is why I'm still masking. We've learned nothing and this is why the T-virus is going to end us all a lot quicker than Resident Evil claimed.

I can highly highly recommend, if you are going to be away from home for a couple of weeks, making a comfort soup & freezing it beforehand so that when you return at roughly dinnertime with a jetlagged body that hungers for it knows not what, you can feel like a souper genius

I just.... Y'all realize the bathroom in your home is gender neutral right? Like the company that built your house didn't build gender specific bathrooms in your house. We have grown up in our homes using gender neutral restrooms......

As we approach the 20th anniversary let’s revisit some of the lessons learned starting with the number one lesson learned.

The number one lesson learned from Hurricane Katrina was the danger of unqualified leadership and lack of coordinated federal response.

Nat Geo’s full series, “Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time,” is streaming on Hulu.

There’s plenty of shame to go around, but it’s truly terrible the way the US responded to desperate citizens in need with fear, contempt, and maligned them as dangerous, criminal and animalistic
