I don’t think there’s a better name for the times we are living in than The Age of Incompetence.

Here’s my TTRPG hot take: it’s collaborative storytelling, not amateur theater.
If you’re going to be in character throughout, with a shaky accent and other affectations, leave my table and go find a LARP.

So the new JJ Abrams show Duster is set in 1974. One plot point hinges on there being surveillance footage on video cassette (that has been stored in an FBi archive for a few years. In 1974!
