I’ve been in a room with Putin. He calls Ukrainians “Russians with accents.” His real fear isn’t NATO expansion, it’s democracy expansion. It shatters his entire argument for dictatorship at home. Because if Ukrainians embrace freedom, Russians may demand the same.

This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

What are your favorite techniques to get students who are reluctant to talk to ask questions (in a larger class where you can't necessarily know everyone's name)? Doesn't have to be during lecture either.

"The difference between significant and not significant is not itself significant. If you want to carry out inference for a difference, you need to construct the standard error for that difference."
