Every year around this time I post this comic up on the Find Chaffy Facebook page. I wait until other viral sites start posting it, then do it officially myself. It’s become a bit of a weird and lovely tradition for a lot of people, and it’s so nice 🫡

When you ask people about the books that changed their lives, they almost always mention a children's book. They're the books that make us readers, shape us at the deepest levels, and stay with us FOREVER. That's why I think children's books are the most important books of all! #kidlit #books

Yesterday I was asked if I could talk about writing the 'hook' for a book. I would LOVE to talk about hooks because (thanks to my marketing background) I am passionate about combining a commercial mindset with creativity.

Posting this here cos it's from the only tweet I ever bookmarked, and I'd like to be able to find it quickly now that's gone. Also because, as a writer, it kind of knocks me out.
