This is one of many reasons my spouse & I always remind older family members, such as parents, to be more disciplined with their public masking (N95 or better) routines when we visit & stay with them. Those who only consider Covid risk in terms of mortality won't fundamentally understand.
You may think that neurological symptoms in #LongCovid are for old people, but it is the opposite. Young adults (18–44 years) and middle-aged (45–64 years) with mild acute #COVID cases (non-hospitalized), represent 90% of the cases of #NeuroCovid. Read here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Tesla's not having real mechanical door handles is a poor design choice that is costing lives.

Lithium battery fires can engulf a vehicle in seconds, disabling electronic doors, and leaving very little time to escape. 3 died here, 4 died in a similar accident in Toronto recently.

Exactly. Early 2020, with no real guidance from public health, it was the obvious and easy thing to do to look at what happened with SARS1. The lessons about airborne transmission and chronic debilitating disease were right there for the learning. Why weren’t lessons learned more widely?
