Just saw an article pointing out the same "Create React App is broken" issues I've been highlighting, and also noting it's actually worse - the CRA docs make no mention that it's outdated:

This is pretty frustrating to watch :(
create-react-app is a zombie application
create-react-app hasn't been in the official documentation for over a year, but that doesn't stop a constant flood of new developers from trying to use it.

Looking at State of React 2024 preliminary data. So far it seems like anything with "TanStack" in its name is doing pretty great!

Now if we could just somehow combine the TanStack and Vite teams, I'm pretty sure we could solve this web dev thing once and for all!
