Surprised and I guess thankful the Pod Save crew have been so forthright on how insane Israel and Trump’s Iran strategy is. So many resistance grifters - including certain liberal media outlets that basically portray themselves as antifa whenever they fundraise - have been much more equivocal.

Not gonna dunk on Dem electeds. Not because I think they're doing well (they aren't!) but because I have no faith that they have what we need to meet the moment and firmly believe the opposition has to come from the outside.

An opinion I apparently share with David Brooks... It's been a long day.

Just for O.S. friends - the Australian Prime Minister does NOT have the power to pardon anyone
This power is reserved for the Crown - for a miscarriage of justice. AND the Royal prerogative of mercy does not overturn a conviction.
Your system of government is cooked
You might want to look at that

The Australian Government needs to back up their words with action. We should be stepping up as a middle power and taking concrete action against the Government of Israel for the horrors it’s inflicting on the people of Gaza.

Worth highlighting couple of Woodside board directors:
1. Ben Wyatt, former WA Labor Govt treasurer & resources minister
And the usual suspect…
2. Ian Macfarlane, former federal resources minister and Chief Executive of QLD Resources Council

The final act of the last parliament was to gut Australia’s environment laws.
The first act from the new government is to trash climate credibility, with Woodside’s huge pollution bomb.

The Enviro minister has failed at the first hurdle. Trashing the environment, not protecting it.
