As promised, here are the slides I shared with students to convince them to NOT use chatGPT and other artificial stupidity.

TL;DR? AI is evil, unsustainable and stupid, and I'd much rather they use their own brains, make their own mistakes, and actually learn something. 🪄

Not as blatantly or violently… yet.

Think the past will protect Australia from Trump’s future? Think again
One of the very few things about our relationship with the US that actually makes us safer is collapsing in real time. We need answers, and quickly.

Corporate lobbyists can cheaply access politicians in private, while peaceful public protestors face harsh penalties.

Really shows whose voices our governments think should be heard 🤔

F*ck me it is very easy to give into despair at the moment. Which is when I fall back on some more of my Oma's advice - when all seems lost, keep going just to spite those you fight against.

If all else fails, exist to spite someone you can't stand 😉

Besides the other millions of things wrong with this bullshit:

No fetus produces reproductive cells at conception. Androgens, chromosomes, and many other chemical and hormonal factors that can influence sex are not yet present (which is why we are all considered female at conception)
But we’re all female at conception 🤷

Enjoy the circus…

Robert Eggers really messed up with Nosferatu. Turning a movie that deals with the horrors of war and death into a one about womens' sexual repression is a feat he just could not pull off (pun intended).

Disappointing.

Huh gee I've *never* had a prosecutor recommend, or a judge issue, a sentence of Unconditional discharge to any of my clients

Remember when Climate Protesters threw paint over (the glass covering) a painting to protest oil companies, and the internet had a bitch about protecting art and blah blah blah?

Weird how those people were quiet when actual fire was breaching the land of an art gallery museum in #SoCalfires.

Santos was fined $10,000 for spilling ~25,000L of oil off WA - it cost them less than a nursing degree.

Can someone explain to me how the govt can get away with taxing students more than oil and gas companies who make millions in destroying our home and stealing our resources?
For decades, Australia has failed to collect enough income from our mineral and fossil fuel resources.

We’re still collecting more on HECS than from the PRRT, our super-profits tax on oil and gas. (Hint: it doesn’t work).

Successive governments have failed the next generations. This needs fixing.

Accused by a whistleblower of covering up an oil spill that killed dolphins and sea snakes, Santos get fined just $10k 🤯

Santos spends up to $US3.3m per year on a private jet for their executives so I don’t think AUD10k is going to hurt them.

Some trans inmates are having estrogen pulled, hair shorn, and put through state-run conversion therapy.

This is the cruelty of abandoning incarcerated trans people.

There is a "critical lack of integrity in Australian public and private institutions."
