My response to tonight’s arguments: 🎵 “oh, you believe in alternative facts? Okay, I’m done here… goodnight!” 🎵 I just can’t with these conversations anymore. Anyone have any advice for coping with or dealing with this nonsense from your closest relatives?… because I’m out. 🤷♀️

unfortunately for these folks the odds are that they aren’t going to go after violent criminals at all — too hard — and going to go exclusively over the easiest targets, which are law abiding workers

Target, if you’re going to cease all of your DEI initiatives, maybe sending out a massive “celebrate Black History Month” sales pitch email the next week isn’t the best move. We’ve got better ways to support black-owned businesses & brands than shopping in your stores. Thanks.

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.
Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.

We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.

I’m just out here feeling like I’m learning a whole new app because I gave up twitter nearly a decade ago but am now here on blue sky out of principle 😆 the question is: will I find anything worth saying?
