If you grew up with any degree of your faith being built around a fear of Hell, then this book is for you. No matter what your faith looks like today, I believe this is a resource everybody can benefit from as they heal from harmful theology and weaponized religion.

Conservative Christians are terrified of Muslim people being in positions of leadership because they just assume they’ll use their religion to abuse power the same way Christians have for generations. They equate power to unnecessarily imposing one’s own faith on others.

Government: “make America healthy again”
People: “Great! So we will educate on proper diet and fitness, provide easy access to more natural foods, and crack down on corporations for loading foods with ingredients that form addictions and increase their profits?”
Government: “nah. Just cut vaccines.”

Protesting at a Tesla dealership is an act of patriotism, not terrorism. It’s pretty similar to how Elon’s behaviors are fueled by racism, not autism.

I’m not saying you should take critical life advice from the next bumper sticker you see, but I saw one earlier that said “go where you feel most alive” and I’m now going to make all of my decisions based on that.

Amazon wants to brag about supporting small businesses? Guess what, you can still use Amazon while boycotting them - use it as a search engine to find the item you want and then go directly support that small business from their own website. Cut out the middle man and support small businesses!

Conservatives always talk about not voting for women because they’re too emotional for the tough situations. Meanwhile, our president and VP just had a hissy fit and had to start shouting at another country’s leader. But yeah, being unnecessarily emotional is avoidable with men in charge.
