There’s no longer any black women or trans people at Teen Vogue.

This was a publication that listened to young voices, had progressive political views and frequently reported on things other outlets were too cowardly to touch.

Disgusting example of capitulating to the regime & ruining a brand!
thank you for all the support; the statement from our union is now live here with some more reporting.

now that this is public I can confirm that the majority of today’s layoffs were women of color. there are no longer any Black women working at Teen Vogue.

We strongly condemn @CondéNast’s consolidation plans for Teen Vogue, a move that is clearly designed to blunt the award-winning magazine’s insightful journalism at a time when it is needed the most. More from our statement:

These vital programs have been a lifesaver for millions of people.

Now the programs are under attack by Trump and Republicans, who are spreading lies in order to justify devastating cuts — particularly to Medicaid. https://youtu.be/BzMqYttKv1c?feature=shared

Republican lawmakers are introducing legislation in Congress that would ban striking workers from receiving unemployment benefits.

The bill seeks to override the laws of several states that give workers on strike unemployment.

We’re grateful to have a Governor who kept her promise to working class Oregonians by signing SB 916 into law, which will grant striking workers the ability to access unemployment insurance.

Thank you, Governor Tina Kotek for standing up for working Oregonians and showing them you have our back.

WORKERS WIN BIG!

After years of fighting and members speaking out, the Governor has signed Unemployment Insurance for striking workers into law!

No one should have to choose between standing up for their rights and paying the bills.

Gov. Lamont just threatened to veto our #UIforStrikingWorkers legislation.

This veto threat sends a clear message: Gov. Lamont is more concerned with protecting corporate profits than supporting the working people who make our economy run.

The State House just passed UI for Striking Workers! The passage of this bill in both chambers with a bipartisan vote marks a critical victory for working people in our state.

Now it's on Gov. Lamont to do the right thing. He can either stand with corporate CEOs or stand with working people.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

Incredible scoop! Career officials inside the Trump administration first viewed the case of Mr. Abrego like any normal case of a wrongful deportation — they began looking for ways to bring him back, as happens normally when ICE makes mistakes.

Then the White House got involved, and blew it up.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode the deficit.

3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

Don't let them get away with it.
