I agree more violence is coming. But I hate the racist undertones of how it’s talked about— implying that poor people will be driven to violent outbursts by tropical heat disregulating their emotions.

Global heating is a result of violent capitalist inequalities; that then causes more violence.

Did you know that China has enacted the most comprehensive climate policy in the world?

Well, it has — because it's positioning itself as global hegemon for the climate-changed future.

Trump's climate denial is only a stupid, tragic assist to that end.

It’s the morning and still exactly zero stories on this. There were lots when the oil/gas lobby’s state case especially was filed.

The msm gave the oil/gas interests great PR when this bs case was filed. Now, the case against NYC’s gas ban was dismissed.

WHERE ARE THE PRO-PUBLIC INTEREST STORIES
There were lots of media stories when the gas lobby filed their lawsuit to challenge the NY ban on gas in new construction. Made it look like we were in trouble.

Fast forward: The lawsuit to overturn NYC’s law was dismissed today. The gas lobby lost.

Will any msm put up an item?
