I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

Teen Vogue did such amazing work covering politics for the youth. I’m more than disappointed in their decision.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

This is beyond cruel, especially for young folks who are going through it. Cutting off LGBTQ+ youth from specialized suicide prevention help is a death sentence disguised as bureaucracy.

I’m gonna say it again: @rollingstone.com and @wired.com are the ones meeting the moment. Everyone should be reading their reporting.
One thing the far-right does better than anyone: change management/comms strategy, campaign, etc… it’s coordinated and drives their strategic priorities. That’s how propaganda works. And it’s effective.
