To clarify: this is only possible thanks to adaptive optics, which corrects atmospheric turbulence and allows us to read those tiny labels 🔭.

Schon mal Tipp für heute Abend: #ISS um 19:26 Uhr MEZ über Deutschland zu sehen. Zieht als heller Punkt innerhalb von 6 Minuten von West nach Ost über den Himmel. Um 21:03 Uhr 2. Überflug, aber nur 2-3 Minuten sichtbar, weil die Station dann im Erdschatten nicht mehr von der Sonne angestrahlt wird.

This photo was released today by Intuitive Machines, seemingly taken by their Athena IM-2 mission lander.
The lander clearly tipped over, but otherwise looks OK. But it can't recharge, so is functionally dead.
As far as I know, this is the first photo ever taken from the lunar south polar region.
