There are moments, even on a good day, when all the lizard brain wants is to curl up under the desk & never, ever come out.
(Characterising parts of my brain as separate entities is an odd conceit, I know. But it helps. It's a lot easier to say "eff off" to something that's not intrinsically 'me'.)
