Holy shit. I suffer from anxiety-induced/related hypochondria. Never ever seen anyone describe why and how it feels like what it feels like this clearly. I'm doing much better these days but damn...this hit home.

Strong Earth Abides vibes from Pluribus (extremely complimentary since I love Earth Abides), which is interesting because I think there's a show/movie coming for that as well?

Del Toro's Frankenstein was, except for a few minor blemishes, really good and I enjoyed it a lot. However, the screen was stolen, by FAR, by Jacob Elordi. What a performance! Masterful.

One of the best things in my life is that I have an elite group of New Weird Viziers telling me what to read (I'm not joking)

My favorite Dredd stuff is when they hint that he's some sort of force of nature, a personification of vengeance or some other primordial force

Probably my favorite electronic artist and one that is criminally underrated imo. Dub (but good), techno, some house on this one too, lots of cool acoustic instruments, breaks, and other stuff. Really good and intelligent stuff.

Just finished Carrington's The Stone Door. What a genius, beguiling, and frustrating little book. A love story hidden as an alchemical puzzle and a story about Jewish loss and memory in the wake of World War II. Filled with Carrington's surrealist fire.

just like....why? I can think of so many cool riffs you could have used there? Like the riff itself is fucking sick of course but...the rest of the track exists?
If you wanted to go for "tongue in cheese rock track with a sick riff" like...Rock the Kasbah is right there?

Sometimes I think about the series finale of Willow, like, someone just let this happen. They heard the pitch, read the script and said yeah go ahead

Banger. The more time goes on and Sandman disappears up his own asshole (I love the guy but talk about ego lmao), his guest spots are my favorite work by him. He's such a talented rapper and writer, I wish he'd come back down to earth.
