this evening i watched a young guy mansplain music to his girlfriend at the teen jesus and the jean teasers gig...it went like this: "yeah they're pretty good but have you heard green day?" and, "oh! i think this is wet leg [as the band is playing one of their new singles]"

Breaking: Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, the legendary transgender activist and veteran of the Stonewall uprising who dedicated her life to the liberation of trans people, especially Black trans women, has died at 78.
Rest in Power, Miss Major
Miss Major Griffin-Gracy passed away today according to the House of GG. She was a veteran of the Stonewall rebellion and a lifelong organizer for the safety and dignity of trans people, sex workers, and the incarcerated. She came from the same generation and milieu as Marsha and Sylvia. She was 78.
