Spending a lot of time currently trying to strengthen safeguards in the Scottish Assisted Dying Bill. This very short film covers what SPPC is doing.
Today the Scottish Parliament Health, Social Care & Sport Committee began discussing amendments to the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill.
We worked with stakeholders and Bob Doris MSP to suggest some changes.

Horrendous.
Our latest report charts the decline in the number of district nurses, down 43% since 2009 📉
It also places the decline in the context of government ambitions to shift more care out of hospital and into the community, where district nurses play a key role.
