I got a kindle last year for xmas, and honestly my actual physical book collection has grown in response. Not because kindle has introduced me to new books... but because the kindle interface and "you can't buy books on this platform" make it less user friendly than a gen1 ipad from 2010.

Picked up book 1 of a DnD novel collection today. Thought, hey this is nicely bound, sprayed edges, the collection includes some classic Dragonlance books too and I can maybe pick and choose which ones I like.

same for artists. no artist is burnt out because their workload would be less with AI or their project managing software could be assisted by AI.

Following up on my portfolio critique list: Any of you comics writers who teach feel like coming up with a list of 12 Things You Would Probably Tell an Aspiring Writer about their Comic Script?
Great idea! I'm not the guy to do it, but I'm sure it could be done: "The story starts on page three." "The protagonist's efforts would be more compelling if you established what the stakes are if she fails" etc.

Also whether you're making a new site or already have one: backup your files and databases regularly and keep local copies too!
Y'all if you make a website please please keep local copies of your files, know a lot of people are trying to move off of nekoweb, which is fine, but you should try and keep local copies of your code so you can just pull and mirror easily
