Watching Down Cemetary Road and it’s no Slow Horses ( meaning I didn’t get the itch to immediately read the book) , but I like it ,has some absurd moments and Mr.C some incredible ehem lines . I am sold on Emma Thompson as the silver fox detective.

Forgot to say ,I watched GDT’s Frankenstein too and I think it’s a sin against cinema that they don’t release it more widely in theaters. Also it took me back to the play with Cumberbatch & Miller. Same vibes with more gore .

There were not in fact 500 pages , more like 50 so I finished The Book of the New Sun and at the end some things were a bit predictable, some were further mind bending, some eww cringe wtf moments , but hey it’s timey-whimey . GW is yo-yoing with genres and also drinking a lot of catholic juice .

Watched Predator :Badlands and liked it . Just a fun movie on a Friday evening , fast paced , resolves what it sets out to resolve , integrates well into the Alien&Predator universe.
