I am in Nagasaki ( visiting my daughter) . Checked out some shrines , some hot springs ( UnzenJigoku ) ,got our feet into some hot water ( ashiyu) .
Iwato Shrine in the middle of a forest, near a cave opening A stone and wood Torii seen from above , with the lucky stones on top ( if anyone has seen Shogun the new show ,you might recognize the tradition) Hot smelly water bubbling out of the earth creating a steam that ruins visibility but is Extremely impressive up close Three cats ( 2 black and white and the middle one a rich shiny grey) lounging/ sleeping on the hot stones near the bubbling onsen ( hot springs)

I’ve been to an exhibition yesterday and a walk

Well I think I Will actually continue to watch this show, mostly for the space Jesus / John the Baptist (?) without a bellybutton-consistently the best in all seasons with all the variations

This one is the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart built between 1908 and 1911 in neo-gothic style
Temple built in neo-gothic style , white and black with distinctive two towers Inside the Sacred Heart Church with wooden the pews on either side and a huge black intricate chandelier hanging from the middle , stained glass windows all around

Visited a few churches too , this is one of them ( Franciscan temple and monastery) with a pic of the wood shed ( used for Szekely country AC 😉)
