Charity vs. Solidarity
Charity asks, “How can I help them?”
Solidarity asks, “What do we need to build together?”
Charity is transactional - it’s about giving to feel good.
Solidarity is relational - it’s about investing in shared survival.

When systems fail us it’s community that saves us.
Before there were corporate sponsorships there were friends passing envelopes under cell doors, commissary money pooled together, or a ride to a court date given without question.
That’s the heart of mutual aid: solidarity keeps our people alive.

When sex is exchanged for money, it collides with two deeply entrenched cultural beliefs: that sex should be private, moralized, and tied to love, and that women’s labor should be undervalued or unpaid.
Selling sex disrupts both of those norms at once, which invites judgment and distortion.

Each kit costs $25 and includes hygiene items, basic clothing, snacks, and a phone card. It’s a small package with a big message: you matter, and you’re not alone.

“End demand” laws—often marketed under name of the Nordic Model—are frequently touted as a one-size-fits-all solution
The logic sounds straightforward: if you punish clients who purchase sexual services, the industry will collapse, exploitation will end.
But decades of evidence tell us otherwise.
