Something I think a lot of people miss about Tim Robinson's comedy is how his character's selfishness and insecurities are seen by the world he's in as toxic, while everyone else's selfishness and insecurities are fine and dandy.

When I was a teen, I didn't see the issue with adults wanting to hang around and bang people our age. Duh! I wanted to be accepted as an adult. But when I hit my late 20s, teenagers started looking like fucking children. fuckin' creeps, man.

It's not even been a week of having all the social media apps deleted from my phone. And life is already better! My mind is clearer, getting more stuff done, less anxiety, and I'm noticing the beauty in the small things much more. Like the tree branches swaying in the wind. 10/10. Highly recommend.

A great movie y'all should see right now is One Battle After Another. And seems to be about how the failures and betrayal of the whole Obama "hope and change" era has led to the shit world we are now left with. Where white power losers who care deeply about saying Merry Christmas are in charge.
