Me and my friends, patting one-another on the back as we've all confirmed we all did vote in this runoff election with a single question. Each and every time going forward.

I've won an illustrious art award: my beloved pub staff put my art on the wall in the "not for sale" category.

New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

If a human did this, they would be arrested and go to prison! A woman went to prison for it, despite being legally a child when she encouraged her boyfriend to go through with his suicide threats. I hope OpenAI gets wrecked. www.law.georgetown.edu/american-cri...

@mayorkeller.bsky.social Saw an officer assist a stranded motorist yesterday afternoon at Montgomery and Louisiana. They helped the motorist safely get out of traffic.
Wanted to thank them for their service to the community, that intersection is vital to the NE Heights.

I want to live in a world that isn't deteriorating with decisions that are already harming us.
I want the fashion industry to not be about wearing sexy plastic, when I really just want a person who can make garments that are flattering to my personal body. I want durable clothes I can keep forever.

My cleaning ladies just rolled up in a highlighter yellowgreen Mercedes Benz. I love that for them.

Painted this today, "With Tyger." 8x8 watercolor.

I've discovered that for me, "art" is something that happens when you're *supposed* to be doing something else. Apparently my artist soul is subversive like that. Makes total sense once I realized it.

I realized recently: in my dreams, when I get really tired, I wake up in reality.
It's basically my most "look into the void" moment so far.
The implications of this observation about my own wake/sleep cycle was concerning in an existential manner.

An art professor told me "That's a nice abstraction" and I'm going to be riding this high for weeks.

I'm not sure if I'm having a midlife crisis or my country is having an end-of-life crisis. Both?

Fresh take, I like it. Makes sense - there are folks that will not eat anything that has a face. Meanwhile, animals DGAF if what they eat had a name or not.
People have been misled where the line lies in consciousness. Every story they have ever been told is humans will not see robots as people. That is completely backwards. Humans will see anything as an equal that pantomimes independent behavior and thought. This is the greatest miss ever written.

I don't want to waste time thinking about the past, or even having to think about the present.
I just want support and silence from the government, so I can just go about my life searching for the future.
Stop making me pay attention to terrible people who don't even consider me to be a real person.

My response just now to a home security installer salesman: "Thanks, but we work from home and have *these two* around." I point down to the 105 lb German Shepherd at my left hip silently staring, and the 125 pound menacing black dog at my right side.
Him: "I won't waste your time, then. Goodnight!"

Had a power outage a while back and I was shocked at the sound of silence. For a while, everything was quiet - no air conditioners, buzzing monitors, all televisions were silent. And even still not silence, living against the bones of the city.
People have forgotten the quiet while I long for it.

Advice I gave to a friend that she found helpful: when you're facing a decision, think about what "you from the future" would ask of you. The best thing you can do for yourself is to be your own best friend. The future doesn't just happen, you *choose* your future.

Gotta remember that life is worth living as long as we love fearlessly. Dogs are great teachers of this. Dancer taught me the joy of life, and Tyger taught me that peace comes from demonstrating love.

So I'm deep in the throes of artist madness, and it's finally getting productive. But this economy right now, what's an unpatroned artist to do? Rich people aren't keeping pet artists anymore, are they? I need an eccentric funder to keep me in paints and pot.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A “TRADE DEFICIT”—IT’S JUST CALLED “BUYING THINGS.” YOU DO NOT HAVE A TRADE DEFICIT WITH YOUR DENTIST JUST BECAUSE HE NEVER BUYS ANYTHING FROM YOU.

If someone lost a blue diamond ring in new York city, I turned it in to security where you lost it. It was really pretty, hope it finds it's person.
