By shutting down USAID, DOGE is doing the work of Russia and China at the expense of the United States.

We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines.

The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds.

It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

Don’t get fooled by the “privatization” label. It means “for profit” and YOU are the cost.

I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases)

On my last call shift we got a great pic of ferning from a term pregnant patient in early labor whose membranes clearly had ruptured! I love any time I get to use the microscope!
