In few other northern European cities would vehicles be allowed to mix unrestricted with so many intoxicated pedestrians on a street with really poor pavements.
If this was a rockfall on Arthur’s Seat or a toppled chimney, would the street have had some mitigations by now? 😔

You wonder which urban designer decided to put the benches in - thinking it’ll be nice to sit in-between and facing the parked cars!

60mph - 70mph when it’s quieter and safer.

Some good bits of design here for pedestrians and cyclists. Still a lack of trees though, even if the bits of greenery that are in the design are welcome.
