Today we welcome Dmitri Abrahams, who recently joined The Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies as a PhD student. His research examines the creation, evolution, and reception of Holocaust memory in South Africa (1947–2009).

During today's EGM the branch voted unanimously to request an industrial action ballot that would allow us to strike at the beginning of the next academic year.
