Eight Reform UK councils have indicated that they will raise council tax next year after struggling to find huge cuts in public spending.

That’s despite Reform UK flyers during the Local Elections criticising councils for doing just that.

Never trust a Reformer.

Bridget Phillipson, the image may look playful, but the message is serious.

You’re being ill-advised on early learning.

Play isn’t soft. It is learning. Children show writing, maths & thinking skills through play.

So don’t take play away. Come & observe it.

I find it really hard seeing such extreme wealth on show during the wealth recent state visit at the same time a report is published detailing the depth of poverty in the UK.

When saying a footballer is earning £200k a week why isn’t it published that it’s almost £21m a year? The £200k is obscene as that is almost 10x the minimum annual wage.

Interesting and important research by @suttontrust
on access to internships and the graduate labour market, demonstrating that these remain a site of inequalities (and exploitation) for students and young workers
Many graduates use internships to get started in the world of work.

But how do they find them? 🔎

Our new research shows that personal contacts still play a major role, with a fifth of grads finding positions through family and friends.

Less than 1% of refuge spaces in the U.K. are accessible for wheelchair users, new data shows.

That’s particularly scandalous considering disabled women are more than twice as likely to experience domestic abuse than non-disabled women. news.sky.com/story/amp/le...

Data obtained by Sky News from Women's Aid shows only 1.8% of vacancies at refuges and temporary housing could accommodate a woman with limited mobility.

So I want to debunk a few misconceptions:
