School funding needs to be more fairly distributed.

Changes made to the National Funding Formula in 2018 benefited schools in less deprived areas.

These changes should be reversed, in order to rebalance funding back towards schools serving the most disadvantaged communities.

They're being squeezed out of jobs in music, film, and TV.

The level of child poverty in this country is unacceptable.

Roughly 1% of the population go to Oxford or Cambridge for university.

But those in Britain's top jobs are 21x more likely to have attended Oxbridge than the wider population.

Oxbridge attendance is highest among senior judges, permanent secretaries, and in the shadow cabinet.

It's great that UCAS has announced an expansion of the fee waiver to include care leavers for the 2027 cycle!

Care experienced young people often face extra barriers to accessing higher education, so this is a very positive move from UCAS.

Working for free is a luxury that few can afford, but unpaid work is still expected across many sectors 👎

Unpaid internships are most prominent in real estate (64%), construction (54%), IT & telecoms (46%), legal (46%), and finance & accounting (45%).
