This company is worth a bazillion dollars and has billions of users, yet popular newsletters display in font size 10,000. smh.

Fun story. For shares (ETFs or otherwise) to trade, you need market makers to provide a bid and offer price for you. The thing is, that takes capital...and there's a finite amount of it. There are so many ETFs now that market makers may have insufficient capital to provide liquidity in all of them.

Market-making firms in the $13 trillion exchange-traded fund industry may come under strain amid a potential wave of new listings in 2026, with US regulators poised to allow asset managers to offer ET...

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

Make a family code word. Ask for it. Don’t ever volunteer it when someone calls you. Make them say it to you.
This is actually a really common scam these days. A scammer will call and use AI to replicate a family member’s voice and the family member will sound distressed and having an emergency so you don’t have time to think. Best thing to do is hang up and call that family member “back” to confirm.

Graham Linehan has such little self-awareness he *really* doesn’t understand how totally unhinged he seems in his ‘woe is me’ batshit crazy ranting! 😬

He’s the ‘cautionary tale’ of what obsessive ‘gender critical’ transphobia leads to: no friends, no life, and spaghetti carbonara for one!

It's just two parallel realities: one for an executive class so enraptured by the promise of labor savings that creative departments are pushed into creating AI slop, and one for everyone else, who view the slop with their own eyes and are repulsed by the rank aesthetics of automation

It's truly wild to me that this just keeps happening. Coca-Cola runs an AI ad and people overwhelmingly react with disgust. They do it again, and people are disgusted again. Now McDonald's makes an AI ad that's so bad that so many people are furious about it they pull it down.

People hate AI slop!
