No dms unless I know you.
I've been saying this for weeks. We have to make the Republicans fear their own constituents more than they fear Trump. This is a piece of that.

A serious threat of prosecution must hang over those who break the law in the second Trump administration.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Do you know why rural and working people are listening to Walz and AOC and Bernie?

Because they tell the damn truth. Because they are passionate about people. Because they are authentic. Because they care.

They are the new face of the opposition.

Whatever happened to #abolishICE? It needs to be abolished. This is torture.

Fabian Schmidt’s family said they are unsure of why he is being held. They said he has a recently renewed green card, and no active issues in court.

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law:

“It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.

NH’s new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates
The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.

Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

good to watch. but there's one part in here that most will probably overlook. stability, the constitution and the rule of law are magnets for capital. an elemental observation that's at the root of basically every study of economics and capitalism.
A top economics reporter goes off script on national TV: “I am going to say this at risk of my job, but what President Trump is doing is insane.”

Nearly 13 million people in the U.S. hold green cards.

Tens of thousands more are here temporarily as foreign students and professors.

All are now in danger of being arrested by the Trump regime if they exercise their First Amendment rights.

US military ending joint exercises with NATO, as America’s leaders denounce Europe.

Russia’s top foreign policy goal has long been to undermine, ideally break up NATO, which is apparently a US goal now as well.

Similarly, America’s stated goal is now regime change in Ukraine, the same as Russia’s.
