I preferred it when Rod Stewart sung
lovely songs such as ‘Sailing,’
‘Mull of Kintyre’ and ‘Margaret May.’
Now he’s become all radicalised, wallpapering his rooms in animal skin and sending back his gongs.

#OtD 29 Nov 1947 the UN passed resolution 181 recommending partition of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states. Approved by the US, USSR and others, it gave 56% of land to the Jewish state despite Jews being only 32% of the population. More in our podcast: workingclasshistory.com/podcast/e86-...

Unsurprisingly, no one has advertised here for over a year.

If you are interested, its near the Tesco Extra in Watford. Plenty of footfall, its just a mess because no one takes responsibility for keeping the area tidy.

......and we wonder why the British economy is so lacklustre.

Marco Rubio knew the truth 9 years ago, but he sold his soul for power. Yet he was correct: He will one day have to explain his support for Trump, and this is not going to end well.

I was in a big Tesco store this afternoon, and was really quite shocked at the dumbing down of the fresh fruit section. There is disproportionately more space given over to unhealthy junk like sweets, biscuits and crisps.
