This. Same with writing. You don't just have to be a good writer to get any level of success now, you need to either be an expert marketer, or be able to afford expert marketing, too.
The problem isn't that generativeAI will get so good it will replace artists. It can't and never will.
The problem is that uncreative and incurious people will flood every venue with so much regurgitated slop that no artist has a chance of ever being seen or found.

I can’t believe they’re STILL talking about a $97M military parade for Orange Foolius’s birthday. The military should be against this. The Congress should be opposed. And the people should raise hell. $97M could feed so many hungry children instead of the ego of ONE manbaby who HATES the military.
