Great examples in the thread below. As a young person with a staunch republican in my ear growing up when affirmative action first came around, the initial viewpoint against it made sense because everyone should just be equal right? But that’s not it ~ representation matters in shared spaces. 🫶🫶🏻🫶🏼🫶🏽🫶🏾🫶🏿
Last election it was CRT, then Woke, now DEI. Slam some letters together and call it a threat; isolate a population and call them a danger; the oldest plays in the book.
But, more importantly, this demonization of fairness and equity in the workplace is ignorant and bigoted. 🧵
