The people who need this most aren’t paying high tax rates—a $25k deduction is going to mean a $2k, $3k, $5k tax reduction, no? As expected of GOP policies, this is highly regressive, and completely ignores the “catastrophe” end of insurance.

My teen recently had surgery to reattach a ligament in their finger. We have insurance so it cost us $100. The actual bill was $44,500. This plan isn’t going to work.
