The real choice Democrats face is not between a continuing resolution that allows the government to function normally or a government shutdown.

Under the Trump regime, the government is not functioning normally. It is already shutting down.

Democrats must not legitimize Trump's coup.

Amarillo is one of the reddest towns in Texas.

But I showed up because our campaign is not writing off any community.

It was standing room only.

There were 13 elections last night for a statewide office.

Democrats swept all 13.

That’s 1 in NJ. 3 in VA. 2 in GA. And 7 in PA (all judges, retention and regular).

They won 12 of the 13 races by double-digits, with margins up to 24%. The only other race, the tightest, they won by 6%.

one category of show prep material for TRMS staff is something we've always called "subway reading".

it's something that's not exactly current events or new reporting... but nevertheless relevant food for thought given the news we're in.

Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.

These Project 2025 videos were intended to train a second Trump administration’s political appointees "to be ready on day one."

Last August, ProPublica & @documented.net obtained 14 hours of the videos, which covered everything from passing new regulations to rooting out left-wing language:
Watch: 14 Hours of Never-Before-Published Videos From Project 2025’s Presidential Administration Academy
The videos are part of an ongoing effort to recruit and train thousands of future conservative appointees. Despite Donald Trump’s efforts to disavow Project 2025, most of the speakers in the videos ha...

I did not get an affirmative response from the service station when I asked for some of that great $1.99 gas this weekend.
Trump: "The gas has gone to the lowest level in decades. You're seeing $1.99, $1.98, I saw $1.95 at certain states."

I just finished a book about that. Dachau was shown off to the press, politicians, ambassadors, & even the girlfriends of the Gestapo & S.S. There were a select group of model "inmates" used as props for those visits while the sickly, beaten, dirty & starved were hidden.

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.
