one of the only "Gen X was like THIS" posts I'll ever do, but my elderly status allows me to say that Gulf War I in 1990-1991 was also infinitely stupid but (1) didn't last long; and (2) no social media. But it was the advent of CNN treating war like a video game, hooray.

Voted early in Brooklyn. It was packed like I’ve never seen for a non-presidential election. Certainly not for local primaries. Zohran supporters are tremendously excited to vote. The only obviously non-Zohran voter there was Chuck Schumer.
