My son’s debut performance in his high school’s fall play tonight. Free publicity for a dead podcast.
They did the Greek Mythology Olympiaganza. He was one of the narrators. Quite a substantial role. And he killed.

I’ve been rewatching the MCU movies from the beginning because the post-Endgame films have let me down so much that it was tainting my opinions of the first three phases. The rewatch has helped me reclaim my love of many of those movies. Just took in Cap2 again. So much damn fun.

I rewatched FF: First Steps. I like the movie quite a bit actually, but I continually felt like I was watching a sequel to a movie we never got.
I’m fine brushing past the origin story, but picking up four years in, we missed out on a lot of integral character development.

It’s basically a Tequila Sunrise but with orange peach mango juice. I’d love to somehow slip in some hints of purple.

I finally broke down and got a couple of the Plastic Meatball Emmet Otter action figures. They’re actually bigger than I expected. I was hoping they’d be in scale with my Palisades Muppet figures but they’re a little bigger.

1. I attribute my political views to the teachings of Jesus and Star Trek. I am NOT a republican.
2. Skew data all you want, but women love Trek. Bjo saved the franchise.

The Amazon commercial with a college daughter coming home for the holidays to find her old, fat dad on a treadmill in her room is mildly funny until you realize he is listening to “Shine” by Collective Soul and that commercial can fuck right off.
