This is so true. When a feature doesn’t fit or has outlasted its usefulness, keeping it just means you keep paying for it forever.
When most companies deliver software that doesn't delight their customers/users, they do not remove it. Bad idea. That's just adding complexity without any benefit whatsoever to anybody. The money spent building it is lost. Live with it. Don't let sunk-cost thinking damage your product.

This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens.

I’ve been away from Bluesky for a while, but I’m really impressed with how much they’ve gotten done. The app feels a lot more polished and I’m excited to retire Mastodon, Threads, and X. 🎉
