Has been known to write. Is admired for his collection of plush monsters and strange books and weird art and vintage things. But is he charming? Award-winner for that book about gay men and plants.

I'm feeling rather down. Anyone bothering to read this who wants to offer some hope, please give a personal tale of a sudden change in fortune through writing.

Or just tell me to shut up and take more lumps.

I love this quirky book of gay fiction by Jonathan Harper. I wish more people would read it. So now it's only $5. Indulge!

I'm back to working on The Guide to Lost Gay Cinematic Characters 3. If anyone has a favorite horror or f/sf film and would like to know who the queer character is, comment with the film title (the movie must be older than 1986). A lot of the famous flicks have already been covered. So try B-movies.

In Slant magazine, Richard Scott Larson (author of THE LONG HALLWAY) and Doug Dibbern discuss their memoirs:
Very excited to share this conversation between me and Doug Dibbern on our memoirs: "I was a film studies student before I ever thought about writing a memoir, so it made sense that my first book would center a deep engagement with the movies as I told a story about my own life." @slantmagazine.com

I have a couple openings in a historical horror anthology. Pays professional rates but would need the story in mid-March. Reply if you are interested.

Richard is an amazing author--if you're the least bit queer, the least bit monstrous, you should check this out. I cannot wait to start reading it.
My book is on sale at A**zon if you want a sad gay memoir about horror in a lovely paperback edition! People have said nice things about it, I promise 🤓

The newest entry into the Monsterfucker canon: a whiter-than-white tradwife with deeply-repressed lesbianism cucking her soyboy and giving herself over to a bloodpilled 300 year old incel satanically legalmaxxing the property market for security in preparation for the next global pandemic.

Ryan is a very talented and reasonably priced designer (not to mention an excellent writer, too). I've worked with him many times. Need a cover or layout or promotional piece? Hire him.
Completely, utterly unrelated to my previous post regarding artistic solvency, January will probably have to be devoted to finding new clients for my design & typesetting dayjob, so if you want to spare everyone a barrage of posts begging for employment, recommend me to your publishing pals today!!!

Vengeance Most Fowl had me laughing out loud so many times, especially how they turned Feathers McGraw into a Bond supervillain.

I took a great many graduate classes on East Asian History and Culture when I went for my masters. One result was my story "Wagers of Gold Mountain."
