The death of truth in the mainstream media means I have literally no idea who's coming off worse in the current wars that are going on. I just don't trust anything I see/hear/read any more. It's sad, and worrying.

Bought a new gaming laptop purely to play Cyberpunk in VR. I must be mad, but what the heck. Biggest nightmare was just getting the laptop to do first update. So, Cyberpunk installed. VR Mod installed. And I just spent 3 hours just hanging out in the bar in the opening scene🤣

The thing with AI that I can't shake is that it seems like they expected it to start improving by itself by now. That it would just automatically learn how to learn, and improve unaided. Like holding onto a kid learning to ride a bike, then letting go. Instead they got AI like this:

Capt America: Brave New World.... one of the *very* short list of Marvel films I didn't really enjoy. Angry, political/military nonsense with a bunch of characters I don't care about. Sam is cool, but to me, he's Falcon, not Cap. Meh!

Okay... the antelope burgers... nice! Not amazing, but definitely nice. Quite a subtle flavour. I was expecting something like venison, but they're much milder than that.

I may not have got into Andor season 1 properly because I didn't get to hear half of it. Watching season 2... alone... and it is *so* good. Really powerful and emotional. I watch less TV these days, but what I watch, I appreciate more.

The YouTube algorithm is fascinating (scary?). I had a date last week that didn't go great. Without searching for anything on the subject at all, YouTube served me up a mass of videos that explained exactly why what happened... happened. Limbic resonance. Never heard of it 😆

Home from the dentist. Didn't wake up today expecting to have a root canal, first thing in the morning, but that's what happened. I hope it did the trick, coz there hasn't been a day since December when I haven't been in pain. 😬🤞

Car sailed through its MOT. Very pleasing, and one less thing to worry about. Couple of other things to sort out, and then might just think about booking some time off work. Not sure I'll go anywhere. Holidays alone have little appeal, and I'm rather off dating for the moment.
