Trump negotiating in reverse, as if weak and incompetent. He holds all the cards and is determined to give them away to Putin.
Trump already signalling he will reduce US aid to Ukraine, before getting any kind of agreement from Putin to even negotiate. He’s giving a Putin a leg up in negotiations and telling Putin that if Russia wants to continue the war, Ukraine won’t be as well armed.
