When the Dutch invest in cycling infrastructure, they invest in something that is both functional and beautiful.

This contributes to cycling not so much being a functional activity, to get from a to b, but also a recreational and social activity.

IKEA Utrecht started a pilot in which customers can rent an electric cargo bike, four-wheeler with storage box or bike trailer to transport their purchases home, without needing a car.

If the pilot proves a succes, it will be expanded to the rest of the country.
