I just had a thought pop into my head:
A lot of AI n̶i̶m̶r̶o̶d̶s̶ advocates say that courses banning AGI are bad because professionals will be expected to use these m̶o̶n̶s̶t̶r̶o̶s̶i̶t̶i̶e̶s̶ tools in the workplace.

If you know how to critically think w/o AGI, it won't be hard to figure out how to use it.

To me, he seemed to be the more dynamic and exciting in that bunch. When @stephsottile.bsky.social showed me Peter's Friends, I'm recalling now that his performance stood out the most out of that stacked cast. And not because he showed his ass, either.

My partner has idolized Tony Slattery her whole life, so today is a sad day with his death.
I'm grateful I got to know his work a little better (but a lot more to go to catch up with her). It's sad that of that whole Laurie/Emma Thompson/Fry group, Slattery never had a big moment outside of the UK.
