Do not be this provider. If your patient is stating a need, believe them..
My mate went to the doctors to ask for either an increase in her antidepressant dosage, or to try a different one. The doctor told her to listen to Sarah Cox's podcast instead. I mean, full respect to the mighty Cox, but COME ON.

I hate that in local news, sometimes the most common type of disability story will be the very, VERY rare cases of disability fraud.

Disabled people live interesting lives and are impacted by so many things, yet the focus is on these rare events.

re: roblox dude's interview crashout. the thing he wants to say but can't is "at scale, kids are gonna get hurt. that is the price for scale." the thing nobody wants to say out loud is "maybe scaling to a level where harm isn't manageable is bad, and scale should be contained"

The fact that asymptomatic Covid cases can lead to Long Covid IMO probably leads to more people attributing illness to vaccine complications than what could actually occurring, when the underlying problem could be a Covid infection.

Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

On its surface, this seems like a terrible pitch, but I've seen enough Christmas specials to know that this is how we will all learn that Christmas isn't about the presents; it's about the LOVE.

Will my 3-year-old see it that way? We'll just have to wait and see!
The economy is GREAT!
Also, no one really NEEDS presents.

Today NYC, tomorrow the world... may we build a better future where trans people are always safe.
On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we remember the bright and courageous trans people whose lives were stolen by hatred. Their absence is felt across our city.

We will honor them by building a New York where every trans person can live safely, fully and freely.
