So many problems with irreproducibility would disappear if people felt responsible for everything they sign as a co-author. I have declined authorship on papers from several collaborators, because I didn't agree with everything that was written. Science is about pursuing truth, not papers.

Bei mir selbst sind die im Dezember beantragten Wahlunterlagen bis heute nicht angekommen. Und in 1 Stunde geht der allerletzte AA-Kurier, durch den sie noch rechtzeitig wieder in 🇩🇪 sein könnten.

Demnach haben sich bis Montag 210.297 im Ausland lebende deutsche Staatsbürger ins Wählerverzeichnis eintragen lassen. Das seien schon jetzt gut 60 Prozent mehr als bei der letzten Bundestagswahl 2021. Damals seien 128.929 Anträge von sogenannten Auslandsdeutschen bewilligt worden. Die Zahl für 2025 könne sich sogar bis zum Wahltag noch weiter erhöhen, sagte Brand. Es gebe noch Nachmeldungen, und es könnten auch "weiterhin noch Anträge bewilligt werden, wenn nachgewiesen wird, dass die Antragsfrist ohne Verschulden versäumt wurde". Unter vielen Deutschen im Ausland gibt es allerdings die Sorge, dass wegen des kurzfristig angesetzten Wahltermins lange Postwege eine pünktliche Stimmabgabe per Briefwahl behindern könnten.
