Fantastic policy and an exemplar for good governance processes. Considering the evidence of potential (and real) harm if undue influence is left unchecked, such policies could be the single most impactful policies for protecting health in a generation if implemented across the public sector

Along with @ias.org.uk, we believe that ALL young people should receive trustworthy, independent health promotion education that is free from commercial influence.

76% of parents with secondary school-aged children believe that Gvt should take action⬇️⬇️
The alcohol, gambling and junk food industries have no place providing educational materials to schools.

58 leading academics and orgs have urged Education Secretary @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social to follow Ireland’s lead in removing these materials from classrooms.

Big Food sells us what makes us sick, and Big Pharma sells us their treatment for it.
Rather than paying for a longer life, we should regulate harmful product industries so they don't profit from shortening it.
Do you know what else reduces risk of MI and Stroke? Lifting weights and sweating more whilst reducing consumption of Big Macs.
