In 2016 researchers from the Centre for Ecological Research in Hungary pointed laser scanners at two birch trees, one in Austria & one in Finland. Between two hours after sunset and just before sunrise, the trees branches drooped by as much as 10cm🌳

In den USA startet die Erfassung von Autist*innen. Glaube niemand, so etwas sei hier ausgeschlossen. Carsten Linnemann (CDU) hat erst kürzlich gefordert, dass in Deutschland - dem Land der systematischen Ermordung von Menschen mit geistigen Behinderungen - psychisch Kranke zu registrieren seien.

I heard a Virginia Rail calling from the reeds but didn't see the bird until he/she popped up right next to the trail. This shy marsh bird showed for a few seconds before vanishing back into the cattails.
