Cotton remains my favorite "Southern-Ivy-League-Educated-Political-Dimwit" pet peeve. Tens of people will be devastated once he disappears.
Cotton on Trump's boat strikes: "Use common sense. If any of these had been boats full of fisherman or refugees, CNN would've already been on the ground & interviewed all their families & told their stories. We can be confident all of these strikes have been against cartel-based drug traffickers."

To add on top of all this, a freak who feels the need to exert extra revenge on everybody else after having grown up as the son of an electrician and a teacher (epitaph-worthy hardship). Divorced (presumably due to being an insufferable human) and looking 15 years older as par of the course.
There's literally no reason for Congress to exist if any random freak in the presidential orbit can nullify laws and seize federal funds. All of this is plainly illegal, but Mike Johnson leads the most corrupt Congress in US history (and by a wide margin.)

Having lived/worked in the US for almost as long as her (although not a single day with questionable immigration status), I believe my grasp of the English language and its pronunciation is, uhm, a little more advanced than this.
I might have also come up with a better speech (writer).

If stupidity/ignorance, even if performative, gave someone velocity, Maria Bartiromo, after asking this question, would have had to pump the brakes going uphill.
Maria Bartiromo to Energy Secretary Chris Wright: "You've got all these projects which are not necessarily projects that you can rely on. I mean, is the wind blowing? Is the sun shining? And yet hundreds of millions of dollars were going at these projects."

I loved that my Desert Storm veteran neighbor Mitchel took his Harley out today, blasted Go-go on the system and honked at me riding by as I mowed the lawn.

Nobody knows if/when the world will come to its senses again, but I'd be very much into the idea of doing a trip from Nome, AK to Chukotka, RU, setting my watch 20 hours ahead after a short-ish flight, and not experiencing any touristy bullshit in the process.

Good to know that supporting and advancing artists with disabilities doesn’t reflect “the nation's rich artistic heritage and creativity as prioritized by the President”.

And that's how you move on from a conspiracy theorist.
To a drunk conspiracy theorist.

It's an experience when you encounter somebody who is incapable of ever feeling any embarrassment, but really should 90% of the time.
Markwayne Mullin: "Let's have Riker & Alcatraz both open. So we got east coast & west coast both covered, & put our most notorious criminals in them so people understand we're a nation of laws again, unlike under Biden... I don't believe in keeping them comfortable. I want them to regret the crime"

As a former (and still spiritual) neighbor of Germany who is very well aware of his own country’s past, I trust JD and Marco will get themselves new assholes ripped for villainously batting for the AfD.
May (God or) the German government find a fun way at some point.

This manchild does not appear to have matured much since the Real World Boston.
Duffy: "She wants to take people off the road and she's taxing people to do it, raising money for the subway system in New York. But then, to put people in the subway -- the subway is dirty! There's violence. There's criminals. It's not safe ... By the way, I like freedom. Let me drive my car."

Its "Average-white-guy-accidentally-in-US-Government-thinking-of-himself-as-an-alpha-male-while-being-incredibly-dumb" time.
Can’t wait to read what really happened.

My recent 53rd birthday has almost exactly halved my life between EU (AUT) and the US.
And before I draw my last breath, I hope that they will grow to be close and even better allies again under the guidance of future US leaders.

Related to this, I recall an interesting experience sharing Sir Karl Popper's Paradox of Tolerance with some of my friends after certain events in 2017, and being showered with rather irate "The US doesn't need to consider silly stuff like that" type reactions.

I admit that, prior to reentering after a trip to Austria at BWI last WED, I thought about that, in a country of 340,000,000, my last name is, by all indications, astoundingly unique. I am a greencard holder, and who knows, maybe Global Entry was a good thing for me to have that day.
If a friend from abroad asked me about traveling to the US right now, I world advise against it. That’s where we are as a society two months in to Trump 2.0.
